Hall's Exhibition Foundation

Grants to Pupils Moving from Primary! Middle Schools to Secondary Schools


Each year the Hall's Foundation provides a grant to all pupils, who have been resident in the village for at least one year, who are moving up from Primary School education to Secondary education.

For those pupils who attend any local primary schools who live in Snettisham. Forms will be available to Snettisham pupils attending Snettisham and Heacham Primary, at their primary schools. All other children will have to apply.

For other children who attend other schools you will need to contact the administrator for an application form

The grant is awarded to all pupils, no matter which school they attend or to which secondary educational establishment they will attend

The level of grant awarded is set each year by the Governor's of the Foundation at their Annual Meeting in July. The level set was £250 per pupil.

Secondary Education

Dear Parent,

As you may know, the Hall's Foundation exists to help in the education of young people living in Snettisham, between the ages of 11 and 25. I understand that you are the parent / guardian of such a young person and am pleased to tell you that the Governors of the Foundation have decided to grant £350(subject to confirmation at the Annual Meeting in July) to those between 11 and 13 years of age moving from Primary to Secondary education this year.

The grant is awarded to children fully resident in Snettisham and who have resided in Snettisham for a least 1year

Grants are also awarded to students at 16+ for further education courses and at 18+ for higher education courses

The Governors of Hall's Exhibition Foundation are pleased to authorise a grant detailed below towards expenses to be incurred in attendance at secondary school.

The grant is wholly dependent on full time attendance for the purposes of study to children who are fully resident in the village of Snettisham and who have lived here for a minimum of 1 year.

A cheque will be forwarded to you on the understanding that this money will be retuned to the Foundation if the above conditions are not fulfilled.

Grants for Group Projects

Each year following the awards of grants to individual applications at 11+, 16+ and Higher Education the Foundation will consider applications from groups, organisations and special individual cases for assistance in projects providing that they are covered by the Foundations scheme as set out by the Charities Commission.
If you feel you might be eligible for a grant please contact to the Administrator giving full details of the project. It must have an educational benefit and involve the Young people of Snettisham between the ages of I I+ and 25 years.
